The MATE show held in Billings
February 14-16 was a very
successful event for the Montana
Beef Council. We could not have
done it without the help of our
great volunteers Kathy Wiley,
Daphne Kuhlmann, Mary Cooley,
Anna Robinette, Jeri Banning,
Kay McCloy and Steve Harmon and
our staff; Lisa, Sue and
Charlene. Over the three days
we distributed 2,800 brochures,
pens and spices. On Saturday the
16th, the Yellowstone
Cattlewomen and collegiate
cattlewomen gave out over 600
samples of the 2007 National
Beef Cook-off winning recipe
Calypso Beef Soup and about 800
of the recipe brochures. Thank
